STEVE LAYNE - MUSICIAN / VOCALIST - COUNTRY  MUSIC  ENTERTAINER

An accomplished musician and entertainer with many years experience, Steve plays live electric and accoustic guitars, as well as using keyboards, piano and percussion to self-produce top class backings, creating a really big sound to support his very powerful vocals. The show is presented through highest quality amplification & equipment.  Steve’s priority on every performance is to enjoy himself and make it easy for his audience to do the same.


Capturing the magic and atmosphere of the golden years of country music, Steve produces a great programme of never to be forgotten numbers from stars of past to present. Steve features classic songs from many of the greats including Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Don Williams, The Eagles, Brad Paisley, Toby Keith, Vince Gill, George Strait and the Mavericks, to mention just a few. Although most of his repitoire is built around covers of great artistes and their songs, Steve does not pretend to be a “tribute act”, but with an extensive playlist he is much appreciated by audiences wherever he plays, for his light hearted but always professional approach and performance, leaving his own stamp on every number.

Steve is always looking to be as versatile as possible and as well as being available as a Solo performer he has his own 4 piece band  "Solid Gold Country" and is one half of the Duo "Southern Streamline" which also features highlly respected Country musician Ronnie Pitt.
